What Indian Government is doing for farmers who are committing M suicides?

Recently 1500 Indian peasants committed collective suicide. They are suffering since 1997 and every year some 60,000 farmers have committed suicide to save face from moneylenders who give loans at exorbitant rates. In countries like Pakistan and any other developing nation for that matter, low interest loans are offered by the Government so that people who are doing a basic duty for the nation do not suffer. But in a fit of grandiose government of India is only investing on industry and have left poor peasants to suffer. Is there any solution in sight?
