Fracture in heel, interfering with growth bone! Help!?

Okay, so about 3 weeks ago I jumped in the pool where it was too shallow and hurt my foot.. My mom didn't believe me, and didn't take me to the doctor until yesterday. The doctor took some xrays and said I fractured a part of my heel that is interfering with my growth bone, & on this leg I would not grow anymore until this got fixed.. He referred me to a pediatric and my mom hasn't called them yet but she should soon.. Could anyone give me an idea of what will happen there?
