My 2 year old who may be taking advantage of me?

I think she's testing you. My husband and I are going through a similar situation with our 7 month old kitten. She claws our recliners (even though she knows she will be forcibly removed by my husband) or gets on the dinning room table. She'll hop on the table, look at me and then run off with a "chirp." She knows how to be good, she's just too rotten to be good all the time.
