How to prepare to prom? What do I do? What did you do?

My prom is on the 25th of this month, I have a dresss - I don't have shoes yet but I'm pretty sure what I want and what i'm going to get. I don't have a date and I won't have one D:: but should I get my hair done? my makeup done? I got my makeup done last year and it was a catastrophe, how can I make sure I have clear skin? I don't really get acne or anything except for the occasional spot but I want to have cllllllear skin and how can I make sure my hair looks really, glowey? and what should I do with my hair? and should I get my nails done? and what should I remember and do you have any tops or tricks or thing?
