You need to find some way to fight the right wing propaganda machine. 1/3 of the people in the US believe whatever Rupert Murdoch wants them to believe. If you combine that 30% with the 5% of people who are financially benefited by Republican polices and the 50% of people who don't pay attention, there isn't much that can be done.
