How do i help my bf with his grandpa being in coma?

first he was just in hospital now hes in coma i feel so bad... its the person he loves most in the world the person who gets everything about him .... he loves him so so so much.... they dont no if he will pull through and my bf is having a hard time wont talk to anyone not even me.... help me help him
