Brakes are not working...?

so i recently painted my front calipers on my 2000 Honda prelude sh and i took of the calipers of the line and when i put everything back the brake pedal wasn't working and had no pressure and kept sinking in. then i forgot to bleed the system out and bleed the whole system but still my brake pedal kept sinking. a friend told me it might be my master cylinder just gave out and so i ended up replacing it and bleed it and the whole system again and still nothing. so i took it to the mechanic and they said it might be the master cylinder so i said it cant be i just replaced it, so they said it might be defective so ended up replacing the new one yet it isn't it either. they checked the abs and booster and brake lines and still nothing. been car-less 2 weeks now so any answers you could provide would be much appreciated...
