How long should I wait after ACL and meniscus repair before I can be intimate again?

Ok, so I'm having a ACL and meniscus repair done on march 5th. But what I want to know.. is how long after that should I wait until I can be intimate and stuff with my girlfriend? I mean.. I'm thinking like 2 weeks? We're both just kinda curious how much is TOO much strain on the knee... so we want to see. Any ideas?

I know how you feel ... my little girl went to a childminder and used to cry when I left her. There were a couple of things I did to help her; one was she has a favourite rag doll that she used to take everywhere with her. Just as I was dropping her off at her childminder I would hug the doll and say I was putting my love inside it so she could hug it when she missed me. Also I would wear a locket that has a picture of her and her brother in, so I would always be carrying a bit of her with me all day. These little things helped make the parting a bit easier. Separation anxiety is totally normal in young children, but it is very hard being faced with it day after day. I hope she settles down soon, and you know that she is fine after you leave her - it is just the saying goodbye that is so hard!

The doctor is recommending an amniocentisis any advice on what to do?

I'm 19 wk pregnant and i've been spotting the whole time. I've had 6 ultrasounds and my last one they found 2 markers and they are recommending an amniocentisis. My blood test for an AFP came back normal. It's hard to make a decision, i've heard some stories about how it hurts real bad. I mean how do you make this kind of decision have it done or not to have it done. I'm scared to have it done and i'm scared of the results, but at the same time I want to know what is going on with my baby. Can anyone give me some kind of advice. I know the decision is mine and i'm the only one who can make that choice. I would like some opinions or if any one has been in this situation just comment I would truely appreciate it. WE don't know what to do: we can't keep him overnight, in case he adopts us, and we can't shut him out because he keeps sprinting back in and scratching at the door. Okay, so about 3 weeks ago I jumped in the pool where it was too shallow and hurt my foot.. My mom didn't believe me, and didn't take me to the doctor until yesterday. The doctor took some xrays and said I fractured a part of my heel that is interfering with my growth bone, & on this leg I would not grow anymore until this got fixed.. I can't open the second picture on my computer, but if your hair isn't too dark, then no, you don't have to bleach it. With permanent color, you can get up to 5 shades of lift. However, if you're using a box then you can only lift two levels. Dirty blonde is about a level 6, so if you go to Sally's, they have a Clairol Pro permanent color line that is great. You can get an applicator bottle if you can't manage bowl and brush. Get a 10G or 10N and mix with equal parts 40 vol. developer. It won't necessarily turn out as light as the swatches so look in the swatch book that shows how it turns out with different hair colors. If that's not light enough, get a 12G or 12N and use 2 parts 40 developer per 1 oz. color. Ask a worker for help if you can't find what I'm talking about. But that should work, plus Clairol color has soy in it so it's not too bad on your hair, but bleaching is! Hope you can make it work :)

Why is my Alaskan Malamute/Great Pyrenees not getting over his shyness?

We got Skylar almost a month ago, and his previous owners did not mess with him or any of the other pups, they did not even mess with the older dogs. Well he was almost 2 months old when we got him, and he's just constantly being shy/skiddish. He gets along GREAT with the other dogs, but if we let him outside to do his buisness, and let him run around for a while. When it's time to bring him in he just runs away. So we give him his space, we try to coax him with treats, and try to give him loving and all he does is just run away. When he is inside, he acts fine. Occationally he will run away, but not most of them time inside. How can I get him out of this stage without making him feel uncomfortable? I know he has a lot of potential, and he is very sweet. I just don't know what to do. My parents are getting tired of him being this skiddish, and I don't want to give him away =(

I have a (standard) American Eskimo Dog, 9 months old, and we got him just last weekend, and he was very excited when we got him home. What would cause your leg to swell at night when asleep?

for the last couple of weeks my Left leg was swollen so bad I could hardly bend it.My knee has been giving me some pain but I just shrugged it off hoping it will go away.But the leg stays swollen until I can get up & move around.In May 2001 I had a triple byp & the leg leg artery was remove for the surgery--could this be causing the swelling.I don't think it would have waited this many years if it was.Or could the knee have something to do with this?I'm 65 & work as a janitor & it seems to do okay as long as I'm up moving around.Any serous suggestion would be appreciated.Tnx

Can my landlord sue me if he does not have a copy of a lease?

My old room mate and I moved into a duplex last February. Our landlord was shady from the get go. We met him in a Starbucks coffee shop and signed a four month lease that was written by my room mate on a piece of yellow notebook paper, the only copy of which is in my possession. Our lease expired, my room mate moved out and another one moved in but another lease was not signed. During the period of one moving in and one moving out, the carpet was ripped up in a 4x4 (roughly) section. We had a verbal agreement that the 500 dollar damage deposit would be enough to cover the cost of replacing it. We moved out in August, and now he is trying to sue me for damages. Can he win a case in court without having a copy of any lease what so ever? Or a formal walk through checklist for that matter?

Impending doom on my baby shower PLEASE help!!?

GE makes a real good silicone. All silicone is a challenge to get a nice neat bead but it works great. Clean and dry and don t get it wet for at least 24 hrs. Polyseam seal is a good caulk but NOT for what your doing. It has latex in it and will deteriorate over time in a wet situation like you have. Now if your looking for a colored caulk to use at the base of your tub you can use a latexed based caulk there. You can get a nice looking caulk job there but it won t last as long as a silicone sealer. GL

Last nite I dreamt a guy was outside my door with a screwdriver screwing the screws off my lock trying to get in my apt to GET ME. I gave notice on 8/21 and told the office I would be gone by 9/7. Since rent was due on 9/1 (past due after 9/5) they told me to just wait until 9/7 and get a final bill before I made a payment. I paid via their online system on 9/7. That day, they mailed me a final statement, which had already been paid. Last week, I received a call from a collection agency regarding my past due rent. I explained it had been paid online, I even had the confirmation email and print out. The office claimed they never received it and didn't have my contact info to call/mail me about not receiving it. This was a blatant lie. First, they mailed my final billing statement to my new address that I had provided. Secondly, the statement sent to the collection agency had all of my contact info on it (home ph, work, cell, addy). They reported me delinquent just SIX DAYS after they mailed my final bill, even though it had been paid. My credit score dropped 100pts! The online co. said no way they didn't get notice

SOME HELP FROM THE MEN and WOMEN PLEASE "BOYFRIEND" PROBLEM?

Overall, our relationship is great since it's fresh. However, I'm beginning to think that I won't be able to handle it in a long run. We live like 2 hours apart and he only have Saturday off, but I will move up there in another two months. His friends are very important to him and he have a lot of friends too. Great Job eating healthy and sticking to your sit up and crunch routine. Fat on the body works kinda funny. At least losing it does work funny. You can't do a bunch on crunches and sit ups and lose fat and tone your 6 pack. The reason for this is body fat is lost and burnt throughout your entire body not one area. So doing crunches isn't going to burn as much fat as jumping jacks or running simply because the energy demand is lower. You need to incorporate your entire body in exercises. do some running. Do some wall sits and push ups. Make sure to use the whole body to lose the fat.

No one forces you to go out to eat. No one forces you to buy the triple with cheese and bacon. No one forces you to get the large coke or in most cases a diet coke because the diet coke makes up for the other 2000 calories you just scarfed down. Stop your whining and take some responsibility for yourselves. I work in fast food and I actually lost weight since I started their because I don't eat it very often. I prefer to cook something good at home and enjoy the flavors of real food. If you are overweight then put down the sack of fast food and walk your chunky into the kitchen and make a salad. You know the green leafy stuff in the bottom of your fridge!!

Where do the wires on my starter solenoid/relay on my fender wall go to?

I have a 1989 ford bronco, and there is a red wire with a blue strip on it that has a socket thing on the end, and it gets pushed onto a small toothed post on the top of the solenoid. Does this wire go straight to the ignition switch? Or does it go somewhere else like the safety neutral switch for example? When the key is turned, it it pushes a post that engages the ignition switch. Then the electric goes from the ignition switch to somewhere else, but it still needs to get to the post on the starter solenoid. Is the wire one straight shot from the solenoid to the ignition switch? or does it branch off somewhere after the ignition switch and then come back to the solenoid?

Ok, I will try not to ge too long winded here. Here's the issue: My dad and mom divorced when I was three, my brother was 4. My dad remarried my step-mom when I was 4. I am now 26 and my dad is still married to her. She and I have NEVER had a good relationship, and she recently said something to me that makes me never want to talk to her again. Before I get to that, though, here's a little background on our relationship. When my dad worked days, she would lock my brother and I out of the house ALL DAY. We couldn't even go inside to go to the bathroom. This started when I was five. By the time I was seven, we were doing our own laundry because she said she was grossed out. My brother and I had to shower the minute we came home every day because we were filthy kids to her. When my little sister was born, I was five, my brother was six. My step-mom went to her mother's house with my sister and told my dad that she wasn't coming home until my brother was gone. He wasn't a bad kid at all, he was six years old and she just didn't like him. So, what did my dad do? He sent my brother away to live with my grandparents for a year. He didn't even fight for us. There are so many more situations and incidences that I could go on and on. It has been painfully obvious through the years that she has never liked us and she has always treated my sisters (she had two girls with my dad) so much better and actually cares about them like a mom should. And, my dad has known what has been going on but he's never fought for my brother or I when it comes to her. He's been turning a blind eye all these years. What did she say to me that has invoked such strong feelings of hate? Well, back in March, she felt it was ok to tell me that she doens't feel the same way about me and my brother that she does my sisters, she never has and she never will. Like I said, that fact has been so obvious from the beginning, but what would make someone even THINK that that is ok to say to someone? I have never wanted anything from her except for her to be a mom, which she could never be. She knew that my dad, brother and I were a package deal before she married him. I want to sit her and my dad down and tell them exactly how I feel. I know that it would be very self-serving, but ever since she said that to me, I can't shake it and I feel like I deserve to tell them how I feel. I don't want any excuses or answers or explanations, because nothing will change what happened. I just want them to know how hurt I am. So right now i ride a 151 size board im about 5ft 4in or 5'5. lol i dont really know. but anyway i think i have decided to get teh Custom x after a lot of research. Now they have 2 sizes that will fit me. 147 and the 152. If i go with the 147 does this mean i will be sacrificing speed and stability???? Or does it not matter what size i go with. i feel like 150 is the perfect size for me or 151. but they dont make an in between size so what should i do. Brakes are not working...?

so i recently painted my front calipers on my 2000 Honda prelude sh and i took of the calipers of the line and when i put everything back the brake pedal wasn't working and had no pressure and kept sinking in. then i forgot to bleed the system out and bleed the whole system but still my brake pedal kept sinking. a friend told me it might be my master cylinder just gave out and so i ended up replacing it and bleed it and the whole system again and still nothing. so i took it to the mechanic and they said it might be the master cylinder so i said it cant be i just replaced it, so they said it might be defective so ended up replacing the new one yet it isn't it either. they checked the abs and booster and brake lines and still nothing. been car-less 2 weeks now so any answers you could provide would be much appreciated...
